The “IN SITU ACT Days – Reclaim Public Space!” will look back over the last four years of the network's activities, giving a glimpse of artists’ journeys to reclaim public space.

Important information due to COVID19 epidemic context

In light of the current health crisis, the IN SITU ACT Conference, initially scheduled for April 2020, was cancelled. Over the past months, the IN SITU team and partners have been working intensively on an alternative format, taking into account all necessary health and safety measures due to the pandemic.
Unfortunately, the physical meeting will not take place since a lot of the audience and the speakers had tro travel from abroad. Therefore, the initial programme will be transformed into an online version. More information about how to connect / watch the programme will follow soon.

IN SITU ACT Days – Reclaim Public Space!

The "IN SITU ACT Days - Reclaim Public Space” will look back on the network's activities in the frame of the cooperation project IN SITU ACT supported by the European Commission and will offer the opportunity to explore four years of artistic creation in public space.

Together, with a panel of international speakers and cultural professionals providing perspectives from a variety of academic and artistic backgrounds, we will dig into some of the most pressing issues of the artistic sector in the current context. We also decided to put an expanded artistic program at the forefront of our two-day event, with live performances by IN SITU artists, inviting you to experience a wide spectrum of artistic creation in and for public space.

Although the IN SITU ACT Days will look different from what we anticipated, we are looking forward to this occasion to come together and exchange ideas exploring this transformed public space collectively!

In partnership with CIFAS and Provinciaal domein Dommelhof. With kind support of Kaaiteater.
